LOGAN, Utah – Preston Parker, founder of Cache Valley Investor Association, shares his advice on how to make 15 to 20 percent more per week. Parker will be holding meetings on these new concepts. Parker said, “I am sick of people saying they hate their jobs … you should go because you love your job.”

There are two types of income Parker explains: passive and earned. Passive income is what comes to you; earned income is when you do something to get it. An example of passive income is investing. Investing can be risky for a lot of people, but Parker believes it is more secure. Evan Neilson, Parker’s business partner, taught him how to make his ideas about passive investment work.

Becoming more educated will lower the risk of investment. Parker is holding meetings to help one become more knowledgeable about investing their money. Meetings will be every Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce in Logan, Utah. From 7:30 to 8:30, Parker or another expert will teach workshops on passive investment. Parker will stick around after the meeting to answer any questions people may have.
