Letter to Cousin

Dear Brooke,

How have you been doing? Your mom told me you were having a hard time deciding on a major. I think you would really enjoy Public Relations. There are so many different things you can do with PR and it plays a major role in many companies.

PR is a very diverse field. You can do research, counsel, government affairs, publicity and promotion, marketing and communication, public affairs, fund-raising, media relations, and so many other things.

The major role of PR is to develop and maintain successful relationships between organizations and the media, customers, investors, community members, and employees. To be good at PR, you always serve the publics best interest. Communication and writing are very important skills you need to have for this field, which I think you have.

There are tons of routes you can take with this major and I hope this helps out. Let me know if there is anything I can do.
