Gary, Indiana – Burger Planet now offers a healthy choice menu. Jayne Petersen, a fitness guru to celebrities, is helping Burger Planet get the message out to their consumers. Burger Planet is famous for their burgers, fries and soda. Now the customers have the option the healthy eating.

Jayne Petersen, CEO of Looking Glass Inc., started out as an aerobic instructor and starred in a series of workout videos. She became well known for helping talk show host, Opal Whitcomb, lose 75 pounds.

Petersen will do publicity and advertising for Burger Planet. Pairing up with Petersen is Corny the Clown, mascot of Burger Planet. Together, they will travel around the country appearing at restaurants and malls to promote healthy living.

In the past year, Burger Planet has offered white meat chicken breast to their menu. The customers have the option to have their chicken wrapped in lettuce rather than bread. Consumers will also have the choice of five different fruits: apples, grapes, peaches, pineapple, or bananas. New gourmet salads having 150 calories, without the dressing, will be offered.

End Press Release with (END) or ###. Use AP style on states, especially in datelines. Remove the last "the" in the first paragraph. Nice second and last paragraphs.
