Practice News Story 3: Crime

Logan UT – Logan City Police responded to a call early on January 31, 2007 about a break-in at a LDS Church. Two CPU’s were taken out of Bishop Lawrence Shink’s office sometime between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Two monitors were destroyed in the hallway.

Police believe the suspects went through a window, left open by the Bishop, and took these two items. Robert Knotz, who is over the maintenance for this building, is the one who discovered the break-in.

Neighbors across the street awoke to noises coming from the building around 1:45 a.m. “I thought it was a garbage truck,” Evelyn Breathwaite stated.

The scene is still under investigation.

Excellent job. I like how you tied in a few of the characters into the story. Make sure your spellings of peoples' names are correct, but otherwise nice job.
